Villa Ursula at old Podgora - house was ruined in earthquake in 1962. but now we are proud once it has been rebuild. We are sure you will love it, view is magnificent, you could cut trough silence, surrounded by mountain Biokovo and blue Sea. Just take look at some pictures... You have swimming pool at disposal at large stone terrace. Also children can play by jumping on trampolin while you are sun shining. In the village Marinovici there many new houses but most of them are still ruined stone houses from earthquake, it gives village special romantic feeling. It wonderful to walk trough the village and enjoy figs from trees. House is in great location if you want to go to the beach, it is only 5 minutes with car, around 3 km. Also its great starting point to go with bicycle on mountain or just to the gravel road in the village. Old and new Podgora is the pearl of Croatia, situated 70 km southeast of Split and 160 km northwest of Dubrovnik on the slopes of the Biokovo mountain and embedded in a landscape interspersed with olive-trees pinewood and other mediterianean vegetation, is the ideal place for holiday and relaxation. Thanks to its favourable climate, the pebly beaches and cozy bays with the sea which is relatively warm very early in the year. Podgora is an attractive see-side resort from the early spring to the late autumn.
